Secret Chiefs 3

Secret Chiefs 3 played a surfin' version of John Carpenter's theme to Halloween the other night at Neumo's much like the one here and it kicked much ass. Sound isn't that good, and video is useless, but, well, at least it provides an impression of what it was like.

Austrian director whose latest, Import/Export, was described by the Hollywood Reporter as "a tawdry little film," "boring sleaze," and "vile and tedious." Looking forward to it myself. Seidl's world is a desperate, grimy, sticky kind of place that seems kin to other Austrians Elfrieda Jelinek and Michael Haneke. See Animal
